Declaration of Skipper

The term skipper shall mean the person, whether or not the owner of the boat, who is designated on the Entry Form as skipper and who is in charge of the boat during the race. The skipper is responsible for the crew before and after, as well as during each race in compliance with the Sailing Instructions.

I understand that this entry is subject to the approval of the Organizing Authority and that the Race Committee at its sole discretion may re-categorize my boat in the classes of the Regatta. I hereby acknowledge that the organizers of this event, the Race Committee, the Regatta Sponsors and their representatives, officers, members and volunteers are not liable for any loss of life, limb or property, personal injury or damage to property caused by or arising out of the Regatta, and that I will compete entirely at my own risk and responsibility.

I also agree to inform all parties involved with the boat, including all crew members and the owner(s) of such risk and responsibility. I agree to be bound by the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012 the Sailing Instructions, the Official Notice of Race and by all other rules and prescriptions therein referred to, and all amendments thereto that govern this event.
